DRAX: No longer quoting clients using under 30,000 kWh

Drax have taken the decision to no longer offer quotes to businesses using less than 30,000 kWh electricity a year across their portfolio.

The key change is that due to changing market conditions, they are no longer offer prices to customers who fall in this category. This applies to new acquisitions, renewals and Change of Tenancies, where the client's usage falls below this threshold.

What if I am already with you?

If you have a supply with Drax and using less than 30,000 kWh a year, they'll continue to supply you until your contract end date. Once this ends, you'll be able to switch so a supplier that is able to offer you a competitive quote. If you take no action, you roll onto a 12 month contract but can leave at any time without providing notice. The rates are equivalent to Drax's Out of Contract rates which can be found here.

We are informing you of this change straight away so you have time to find new options when your contract comes to an end. Drax are now changing their communications to match this approach. In the meanwhile, you may receive a letter asking for you to renew.

For all clients using above 30,000 kWh, Drax will continue to provide quotes.

If you are affected, get in touch to receive your free quote to see what options are available for you and your business.
