Due to evolving market conditions, they will no longer provide quotes to businesses using less than 30,000 kWh of electricity annually across their portfolio. This shift applies to new acquisitions, renewals, and Change of Tenancy contracts for clients below this usage threshold.

What Does This Mean for Your Business?

If Your Business Uses Less Than 30,000 kWh a Year

If your business falls below this threshold, Drax will no longer offer you quotes for:

• New electricity contracts.

• Renewals of existing contracts.

• Change of Tenancy agreements.

What If You’re Already with Drax?

If you currently have an electricity supply contract with Drax and use less than 30,000 kWh a year:

• Drax will continue to supply you until your contract end date.

• Once your contract ends, you can switch to a supplier offering competitive rates for businesses of your size.

• If you take no action, your contract will roll over onto a 12-month agreement, but you can leave at any time without providing notice.

Important: These rollover rates will be equivalent to Drax’s Out of Contract rates, which can be higher than fixed-term tariffs.
