Energy Bill Discount Scheme Update (EBDS)

UPDATE: GOVERNMENT REGISTRATION PORTAL NOW OPEN FOR ENERGY AND TRADE INTENSIVE INDUSTRIES (ETII) & HEAT NETWORKS (QHS)

We are writing to share an update on the Government's non-domestic energy bill support. The Government has today launched a registration portal for Energy and Trade Intensive Industries (ETII) & Heat Networks (QHS) organisations. Organisations who think they are eligible for a higher level of support under the Energy Bill Discount Scheme (EBDS) should take action and submit their applications within 90 days. Once an application is submitted the Government will determine eligibility. In some instances, further validation of eligibility may be required, meaning that the organisation will be asked for additional information. Your supplier will not be able to apply the discount rate until eligibility has been confirmed by the Department for Energy Security and Net Zero.
